The MTN Trainer Lite is built to provide lightweight comfort, grip and stability for alpine approach and mountain use. It has a robust fabric upper that fits well straight out of the box. The lasted construction and moulded EVA midsole create a stiff midfoot with a flexible forefoot for moving quickly in rough terrain. This shoe is also engineered with Salewa’s proprietary 3F system that connects the instep, sole and heel for additional ankle support. The heel stabilizer and rubber toe cap also add further protection. Underfoot, the durable outsole has deep aggressive lugs to ensure reliable traction while the Pomoca compound rubber is grippy enough for scrambling both on wet and dry rock. The climbing lacing allows you to fine-tune right down to the toe for greater precision in technical rocky terrain. Designed in Italy, the men’s MTN Trainer Lite is the perfect summer hiker with the technical pedigree for rugged, alpine use.
