The Beal Booster 9.7 - Unicore Dry Cover is a good compromise between weight, free-running, and grip with its relatively small diameter. The compact size makes for easy-running without weighing you down. Dry Cover treatment is applied to the sheath to make the rope more resistant to abrasion and to various attacks such as falls, overheating, humidity, mud and grit, and significantly increases longevity.
