Your Samaya® tent's footprint will greatly increase the versatility of your tent and will guarantee the durability of your tent floor on stony ground or dry, bladed grass. As it matches the exact size of your tent, it will be invisible.
It will be indispensable for expeditions and trips of several days where you encounter terrain that you cannot pitch your tent on directly, or if you are not sure what you will encounter.

The 2.0 floor is suitable for the Samaya2.0, Samaya ASSAUT2 8K and Samaya ASSAUT2 ULTRA.
Made from 30D high tenacity 6.6 nylon, its main function is to protect the floor of your tent against the risk of abrasion and perforation. It therefore allows you to use your Samaya® tent whatever the terrain you decide to pitch it on.
The footprint 2.0 is rectangular in shape and fits the Samaya2.0, the Samaya ASSAUT2 8K and the Samaya ASSAUT2 ULTRA perfectly.
At only 155 grams and 0.8 litres in packed volume, this footprint will allow you to fully exploit the 4-season technicality of your Samaya® tent. It will reinforce the resistance to abrasion and perforation by creating a first protective layer between the ground and your tent.
There is no point in taking it with you on your mountaineering outings as the snow will not damage your tent floor in any way. However, we recommend it for all your trekking outings where the terrain on which you pitch your tent is uncertain.
Each side of the footprint has a specific coating. The part in direct contact with the floor is siliconized to increase abrasion resistance. The surface in contact with the tent is covered with a PU coating which, thanks to its sticky texture, keeps the two fabrics from slipping on each other.
