Tension Honestone Hangboard

The Honestone is a purpose-built tool for preparing athletes for their hardest sends. Tension incorporated all the necessities for climbers looking to push their limits.

They traded a top jug for a set of asymmetrically aligned slopers with continuously variable curvature and a skin-friendly macro-texture to offer a unique and trainable sloper experience.

1-finger pockets are one of the most demanding grips in climbing. Tension couldn’t (and wouldn’t) make them easy, so they settled on making them comfortable. As comfortable as 25mm 1-finger pockets can be.

For the large edge selection, Tension went with 20mm and 15mm edges with a custom edge radius for maximum comfort during repeated efforts and frequent training sessions.

For small edge selection, Tension provide 10mm and 8mm edges with a 1/8th inch edge radius to balance bite and comfort.

The center edge on the board is 25mm deep and incut at 10 degrees, with a custom edge radius and rounded inside corner. An edge that is designed specifically for 1-handed hanging progression.
